MARITIME ELECTRONICS DEPARTMENT - COMMERCIAL VESSELS - NAVIGATION - (D)GPS RECEIVERS AND SATELLITE COMPASSES

(D)GPS receivers are invaluable aid to navigation allowing for easy and precise determination of the vessel's position with accuracy of up to 3 m. When connected to ECDIS, GPS enables position visualization on electronic charts.

MX - Marine (Leica) MX - 500D system includes the following elements:

• MX - 521A, DGPS antenna/receiver and 20 m antenna cable,
• Operator's panel,

We also provide Saab R4 equipment, configuration as above.

Leica MX - 575 satellite compass is a perfect navigation tool used to determine the vessel's heading, however due to the regulations such may not be a replacement for gyro compasses, but only a backup.

The system includes:

• MX - 575, compass sensor with 15 m antenna cable,
• MX - 420/8, operator's panel,
• MBL - 3, differentia corrections antenna.
