SAILOR SC4000 maritime Iridium satellite phone

Iridium maritime satellite phone is a perfect tool for voice communication and data transmission. A special port allows for connecting standard phone. It may work as a modem with up to 10 kbps. Easy to assemble and use - just like an ordinary GSM phone. The subscriber's data are stored on a SIM card. The phone has code block and call limit features.

The phone is supplied from 10 - 32 V DC. Power consumption: 25 W during transmission and 8 W in standby mode. Water, dust and vibration resistant. The set contains small omnidirectional antenna.

ST4120 receiver
The compact receiver unit is the heart of the system, including receiver, SIM card reader (very much alike in the GSM system), power supply connectors, NMEA, RS - 232, controller and data transmission ports. It also includes a complete power pack (AC/DC converter). The central unit communicates with other elements of the system (PSTN/PABX, PC, AC/DC converter) and ensures proper operation of peripheral devices.

PABX/PSTN telephone exchange
Ensures connection between the IRIDIUM system and local telephone network (for instance on board of a ship). The exchange provides power supply to active and standby PABX lines and generates ring tone. It converts the Tx/Rx signal from Iridium into the 2 - wire line, allowing for making direct calls from landlines (e.g. captain's cabin, control room) to other subscribers using the Iridium system. Built - in voltage converter provides power supply for PSTN phones.

SA4110 antenna
The antenna is a small, compact unit without any movable parts, ensuring connection between the system and Iridium satellites. Dimensions of this epoxy glass fibre - covered, environmental conditions resistant unit are only 140 mm x 95 mm. Maximum cable length is from 8 to 10 metres (RG214U cable). Longer connections are possible using cables such as SA 17272, however this is not recommended.

Data transmission and PC connection
SAILOR SC4000 Iridium is data transmission ready, providing data transmission with up to 10kbps regardless of the user's geographic location.

Hand - held Iridium Motorola 9505A satellite phone - global range

The IRIDIUM Motorola 9505A is the smallest satellite phone on the market. It is small, durable, and offers a wide range of features and functions. Apart from the phone, a standard set includes battery with charger, vehicle charger, set of adaptors for different power sockets, magnetic vehicle antenna, leather carrying case and earphone with microphone. The phone enables data transmission using Data Kit, allowing for collaboration with a PC.

Incoming calls are not charged. We offer our help in the phone registration procedure. Soon Iridium phones will be able to operate in cellular networks, i.e. the phone will act as an ordinary mobile phone. The device has Polish menu and is capable of receiving free SMS messages from an internet gate.

Sailor Fleet 33 is the lightest and smallest phone allowing for packet data transmission with a speed of up to 64 kbps, and may be installed virtually on any vessel. Apart from data transmission the equipment provides telephone and fax communication.
