Inmarsat F terminals

The Inmarsat Fleet family substitutes the Inmarsat A, B and M systems.

The terminals are much smaller than predecessors and cheaper to use, yet much more powerful.

Basic technical parameters are show in the table below.

Inmarsat F terminals are made in three versions dedicated for different vessels:

Sailor Inmarsat F 77+

Dedicated for blue water vessels, by approval of a particular Flag may be an elements of the mandatory GMDSS equipment, instead of, for instance, radio telex. It ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission, up to 128 kb/s, anywhere in the world (except for polar regions). Available in 220 VAC and 24 VDC versions, with mast or deck antenna.

The basic set comprises of the following elements:

• Stabilized Tx/Rx antenna and 40 m antenna cable,
• Transceiver,
• Operator's handset (ISDN),
• Distress button.

TSailor Fleet 55+
Dedicated for smaller blue water vessels, fishing vessels and mega yachts. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission (ISDN or MPDS) of up to 64 kb/s in areas covered by so - called "spot beams". Available in 12 and 24 VDC versions.

The basic set comprises of the following elements:

• Stabilized Tx/Rx antenna and 25 m antenna cable,
• Transceiver,
• Operator's handset (ISDN),
• Adapter for additional analogue accessories (telefax, telephone).

Optional accessories:

• PS-4655, 220 V power supply

Sailor Fleet 33+

Dedicated for smaller fishing vessels, yachts, coast guard vessels etc. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission (MPDS only) of up to 64 kb/s in areas covered by so - called "spot beams". Available in 12 and 24 VDC versions.

The basic set comprises of the following elements:

• Stabilized Tx/Rx antenna and 25 m antenna cable,
• Transceiver,
• Operator's handset (ISDN),
• Adapter for additional analogue accessories (telefax, telephone).

Optional accessories:

• PS-4655, 220 V power supply
• OKI FAX 4580 fax module
• Analogue telephone

Inmarsat Fleet Broadband terminals

The Inmarsat Fleet Broadband family is the latest series of satellite terminals using the capabilities of IVth generation Inmarsat satellites. Small yet powerful, they offer extraordinary data transmission speed. Basic technical data is presented in the table below.

The terminals are available in two versions:

Sailor FB-500

Dedicated for blue water vessels. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission, up to 432 kb/s, anywhere in the world (except for polar regions). Guaranteed data transfer speed (IP streaming): 256 kb/s. May be used to update electronic charts, manage videoconferences as well as for remote testing of radars and other radio navigation equipment. Telephone communication with VoIP handset ensures low prices - less than 0,5 $/min.

Antenna parameters:

• SAILOR 500 Above Deck Unit
• Ø: 630mm, H: 605mm
• Weight: approx. 16 kg
• Single coax antenna cable (up to 90 metres)

The basic set comprises of the following elements:

• Stabilized Tx/Rx antenna and 40 m antenna cable,
• Transceiver,
• Operator's handset (VoIP).

Sailor FB-250

Dedicated for smaller fishing vessels, yachts, coast guard vessels etc. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission, up to 284 kb/s, anywhere in the world (except for polar regions). Guaranteed data transfer speed (IP streaming): up to 128 kb/s. Telephone communication with VoIP handset ensures low prices - less than 0,5 $/min.

Antenna parameters:

• SAILOR 250 Above Deck Unit
• Ø: 270mm, H: 300mm
• Weight: approx. 5 kg
• Single coax antenna cable
• SAILOR mini-M/F33 antenna cable and mount may be used

Inmarsat MiniC terminals

Sailor TT-3026M/S

Sailor TT - 3026M/S is the latest terminal in the Inmarsat C family, named miniC after its compact construction (transceiver and antenna in a single housing). The terminal is equipped with built - in GPS and EGC (TT - 3026S only) receivers.

The basic set includes:

• TT - 3026M or TT - 3026S terminal,
• TT - 3616D connection box,
• 10 m of dedicated cable

Sailor TT - 3026D

• The TT - 3026D is additionally equipped with the "NON SOLAS DISTRESS" function.

The basic set includes:

• TT - 3026M or TT - 3026S terminal,
• TT - 3616D connection box,
• TT - 3616D distress button
• 10 m of dedicated cable

SAILOR TT-3000E GMDSS System

TT - 3026C miniC terminal may be used as part of the GMDSS equipment. The TT - 3000E GMDSS System comprises of the following elements:

• TT - 3026C terminal and 20 m cable,
• TT - 3606E display,
• TT - 3601E keyboard,
• TT - 3616C connection box,
• TT - 3042C distress button,
• H - 1252B printer,
• N-163S power supply.
• The set may optionally be extender with the so - called SSAS add-on-kit additionally allowing for broadcasting AT alerts, comprising of:
• Distress button and 50 m cable, 2 pcs.
• Test button and 50 m cable,
• Activation code.

Iridium terminals

Sailor S.C.-4000

Iridium is dedicated for users that need worldwide telephone communications only. Although the terminals allow for data transmission, the speed (2,4 kb/s) makes it inconvenient and unprofitable.

The Sailor SC - 4000 system includes:

• SA - 4110 antenna and 19 m cable
• ST - 4120 transceiver, 24 VDC
• SC - 4150 Operator's Handset

SSAS terminals

TT - 3000SSA, allowing for broadcasting AT alerts, is a mandatory equipment for All vessels larger than 500 T.

The system comprises of the following elements:

• TT - 3026M antenna module with integrated transceiver and 20 m cable,
• opt. 914 distress button and 50 m cable, 2 pcs.
• opt. 915 test button and 50 m cable,
• TT - 3616D connection box.
