The Inmarsat Fleet family substitutes the Inmarsat A, B and M systems.
The terminals are much smaller than predecessors and cheaper to use, yet much more powerful.
Basic technical parameters are show in the table below.
Inmarsat F terminals are made in three versions dedicated for different vessels:
Sailor Inmarsat F 77+
Dedicated for blue water vessels, by approval of a particular Flag may be an elements of the mandatory GMDSS equipment, instead of, for instance, radio telex. It ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission, up to 128 kb/s, anywhere in the world (except for polar regions). Available in 220 VAC and 24 VDC versions, with mast or deck antenna.
The basic set comprises of the following elements:
Stabilized Tx/Rx antenna and 40 m antenna cable,
Transceiver,
Operator's handset (ISDN),
Distress button.
TSailor Fleet 55+ Dedicated for smaller blue water vessels, fishing vessels and mega yachts. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission (ISDN or MPDS) of up to 64 kb/s in areas covered by so - called "spot beams". Available in 12 and 24 VDC versions.
The basic set comprises of the following elements:
Stabilized Tx/Rx antenna and 25 m antenna cable,
Transceiver,
Operator's handset (ISDN),
Adapter for additional analogue accessories (telefax, telephone).

Sailor Fleet 33+
Dedicated for smaller fishing vessels, yachts, coast guard vessels etc. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission (MPDS only) of up to 64 kb/s in areas covered by so - called "spot beams". Available in 12 and 24 VDC versions.
The basic set comprises of the following elements:

Inmarsat Fleet Broadband terminals
The Inmarsat Fleet Broadband family is the latest series of satellite terminals using the capabilities of IVth generation Inmarsat satellites. Small yet powerful, they offer extraordinary data transmission speed. Basic technical data is presented in the table below.
The terminals are available in two versions:
Sailor FB-500
Dedicated for blue water vessels. Ensures telephone and fax communication as well as fast data transmission, up to 432 kb/s, anywhere in the world (except for polar regions). Guaranteed data transfer speed (IP streaming): 256 kb/s. May be used to update electronic charts, manage videoconferences as well as for remote testing of radars and other radio navigation equipment. Telephone communication with VoIP handset ensures low prices - less than 0,5 $/min.

Sailor TT-3026M/S
Sailor TT - 3026M/S is the latest terminal in the Inmarsat C family, named miniC after its compact construction (transceiver and antenna in a single housing). The terminal is equipped with built - in GPS and EGC (TT - 3026S only) receivers.
The basic set includes:

Iridium terminals
Sailor S.C.-4000
Iridium is dedicated for users that need worldwide telephone communications only. Although the terminals allow for data transmission, the speed (2,4 kb/s) makes it inconvenient and unprofitable.
The Sailor SC - 4000 system includes:
